Posted by Shade- For those of you who were wondering where the name of the site came from, here you go. There was this kid named Kai in my freshman engineering 105 class. He finished every single sentence with "guy." Since his name was Kai, I started calling him Kaiguy behind his back. Then I decided to start saying "guy" and see if he noticed. Eventually, we had our whole class saying "What's Up Guy?" to him. After that, my friends and I just coined the phrase and still use it.
